İŞBİR Holding A.Ş. was established with the foreign currency savings of Turkish workers working abroad and with the contributions of 4148 partners. It was established on 15 August 1977 to produce diesel generating sets.
Between 1981 and 1984, it started to produce original alternators under Hitzinger license.
During this period, the Land, Naval and Air Force Strengthening Foundations, which were established with the donations of our Great Nation to develop the defense systems and products of the Turkish Armed Forces based on modern technology, were established in 1987. were merged and the Turkish Armed Forces Strengthening Foundation was established and started its operations.
In 1988, by acquiring 99.85% of its capital, İŞBİR Elektrik San. Inc. continued its activities within the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation.
İŞBİR is preparing to put Turkey's first and only automation-based alternator and generator factory into operation in 2023.
